I am a second-year graduate student living here in Los Angeles.
LA is a good place to bike ride and swim, and occasionaly surf, kayak or sail.
Astronomy has taken me to a lot of cool places, like Chile, Japan, and Maui.
I have also observed
at a lot of sweet telescopes like those at Kitt Peak Arizona,
the VLA in Socorro, New Mexico, also the CSO at Mauna Kea, and on Cerro Tololo.
I've even been to a few professional meetings in San Diego, Seattle
and Washington DC.
